Randall N. Smith, M.D. joined Dr. Kaplan in January, 2014. Dr. Smith attended Temple Medical School, graduating in 1973, and completed a surgical internship and orthopedic residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He became Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery in 1979, and recertified in orthopedic surgery three times. He became certified in Pain Management in 2005.
For nearly three decades, Dr. Smith did general orthopedics, specializing in orthopedic trauma. Due to multiple lumbar disc problems and back injuries, he was led into pain management. He now concentrates on pain management with office orthopedics. He has over 40 years of experience and is well equipped to treat pain management and orthopedic problems.
